Montana State – QB G-Lead

by | May 3, 2022 | Uncategorized

Montana State ran this play midway through the 2nd quarter in Saturday’s FCS Semifinal game against South Dakota State to go up 17-14 on their way to a 31-17 victory.

The Bobcats get the numbers advantage by using an unbalanced formation along with using the G-Lead scheme to block the Force defender. They also use the RB as a lead blocker for the QB who is able to walk into the endzone untouched because of the numbers advantage they were able to create.
